Spirit Night: Today, Tuesday, January 23rd. 5-8 pm.

Take a night off and let’s enjoy soup, salads, sandwiches and goodies. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ACS!

Staff Appreciation Breakfast

Each grade will have one opportunity to host a special breakfast for our ACS Teachers and Staff in the 2017/2018 school year. The 3rd and 4th grades’ turn is Wednesday January 24, 2018.  If you are in need of volunteer hours, this is a great way to get them in and do something nice for our amazing ACS staff!  They REALLY enjoy and appreciate it. Any time spent shopping, preparing and bringing your item to ACS counts toward your volunteer hours, as well as 1 hour for every $10 spent on items for the event.

It is VERY important to have your donations delivered to ACS before 7:30 am to give the teachers time to eat before they begin their day. We try to have enough to feed 75 teachers/staff.

**Please be sure to use disposable serving dishes. Include any recipes you can. The teachers would love to know how to make your delicious creations!

Intro to STEM LEGO Class : Grades K-4

Description: Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects such as: Trains, Helicopters, Treehouses, and Beam Bridges. Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Join Shoparoo today and enter the January Grade Contest.  The Grade who earns the most points in January will earn a Free Dress of Choice Day in February. Date to be selected by the winning Teachers.  That’s right!  The entire winning grade will earn a FREE DRESS of CHOICE DAY!  Keep uploading receipts for your chance to win!

Also…the family with the most Shoparoo points at the end of the month will win a VIP up-front parking spot for the month of February!  Hurry and upload your receipts!  Contest ends January 31st at noon.

Reloadable Grocery Cards

Calling all grocery shoppers!  During the month of January, the family with the highest amount loaded onto their Safeway of King Soopers Reloadable Grocery Card will win a VIP up-front parking spot for the month of February!  Hurry and load your card today!  Contest ends January 31st at noon.

Did you know that you can purchase gas with your Reloadable Grocery Cards at the Loaf N Jug near the Outlets, the King Soopers gas stations and at Safeway? You can! You can also reload the King Soopers Cards at the Loaf N Jug and the King Soopers gas stations and use them to purchase items in their stores.  For every $1 loaded on the cards, ACS earns 5% back.  Don’t have a Reloadable Grocery Card? Deadline is February 28th for submission on March 1st – we need to get as many collected as possible by then.  Remember – each month there’s a prize for the most donated.​We are looking for Sponsors for our upcoming Gala Fundraiser.

​Classroom Silent Auction Baskets

Each class will be participating in making a basket for the gala’s silent auction.  Your classroom coordinator will be contacting you soon with details on how to get involved.  Thank you in advance for helping your classroom coordinators get these ready for the gala.  This is a great way to get some volunteer hours in.

2017 Holiday Shop

The ACS PTO Holiday Shop is all this week in the ACS library, 12/4-12/8. All elementary students will visit the shop during their regular library time. MS students will be allowed to visit the shop during both carpool times, lunches, or during the day with their teacher’s permission. We will also be open during both AM and PM carpool times and during all lunches. We will close early Friday 12/8 at 10:30am, due to the half day schedule.

All items in the shop are under $15, with the majority of the items under $10. Flyers and payment envelopes went home with students last week. If you would like to participate in the Holiday Shop, please send your student in with payment in order to shop this week.

We are still in need of a few volunteers for the week. Please sign up below. This is a fun way to earn your volunteer hours!

Box Tops Contest Ends Dec. 8th

The elementary and middle school classes to donate the most box tops will receive a free dress down day on December 15th.  Please use a 25 count collection sheet to save the box tops.  You can pick one up at the front desk or print the one attached here.  Please remember to include your child’s name and their teacher’s name on the page.  You can still donate in ziploc bags or envelopes too. 

Please do not use staples

Remember BOX TOPS EXPIRE and do not count towards the classroom totals.

Ask your co-workers, family members, friends and neighbors to help you win the prize!

Save the Date for the Spring Gala!

Happy New Year! The year of fundraising is off to a great start! We have raised over half of our budget this year and it was all possible because of  wonderful parents and staff at ACS! THANK YOU!

With that being said we have 1 big spring fundraiser we want to announce-

This event will be held on April 28th from 6:30-10:30 at Cielo in Castle Pines, CO.
